This compact, comprehensive digital multimeter is equipped with all the functions required by electricians for the maintenance of low and medium-power residential and tertiary equipment and installations.
Like the CA5231, the CA5233 can carry out AC voltage, DC voltage, AC, DC, and resistance measurements. The unique measurement modes found only on this digital multimeter include frequency/duty ratio evaluations, capacitance testing, and the ability to test temperatures from -20 to 760°C by the use of an external type K thermocouple.

To help aid users with detecting live voltages the CA5233 also comes with a built-in non-contact voltage detector. This will illuminate the meter's screen with a red colouring if voltages are detected. This DMM also comes with a data hold function, relative mode for easy measurement comparisons, and MIN/MAX mode, and the DMM is IP54, CAT IV 600V, and CAT III 600V safety rated.
