Complete certificate to be issued for either the initial certification of a new installation or new work associated with an existing installation
These certificates simplify the paperwork by including a schedule of inspection and a Schedule of Test Results on the same document. Without these two documents, the Electrical Installation Certificate is not valid. This certificate must not be issued until the installation complies with BS 7671. An inspection and test which is carried out on a new installation to prove compliance is called an initial verification.
